He’s the bad boy of the Amsterdam techno underground: Daniel Sanchez, 26 year old son of a Spanish father and a Dutch mother, who scored one of the biggest hits of the summer of 2007 with the infectious ‘Mumbling yeah’. Daniel’s ‘mumbling’ vocals give the track that special edge.
Tegenstellingen leiden tot de mooiste dingen, zo blijkt ook uit de samenwerking tussen disco-housemeester Hans-Peter Lindstrøm en zangeres Christabelle Sandoo, voorheen bekend als Solale.

Untill recently Bart Thissen was known in the electronic music scene from Nijmegen, Holland, as a technical wizzard. During high school he soldered together his first computer, build a mixing desk and made lots of other small electronic audio gear. He studied electrical engineering for a few years at the technical university in Eindhoven. As his daily profession Bart now runs, together with a partner, a Pro Audio/IT company making digital audio based equipment and doing contract development.
But Bart has yet another passion called music. He played classical piano for 5 years and his interest in electronic dance music started by the Planet Rose nights at Doornroosje in Nijmegen, one of the hottest places in the Netherlands where Techno and House was played before it went big.
Bart has a wide musical interest ranging from banging Techno, funky House to freaky Electro. He started spinning with CD players around 1998 and decided to use vinyl in 2001. For less than a year now Bart is making music himself and is happy to see his efforts acknowledged by having his first release out on Wolfskuil Records. He spends most of his time behind his computer developing his musical skills and keeping up with the development of technology in electronic dancemusic. Bart Thissen does not have a tv-set at home, regarding television as a waste of time. Every once and a while he visits the neighbours to watch TeleTubbies or Southpark. Some people might conclude he is a nerd. But if you really want to find out who Bart Thissen is, listen to his music! We recommend you start with the track “22” from his “Muzik” ep on Wolfskuil Records.
