Spanish techno giants Cristian Varela and DJ Pepo will team up again on November 22nd at Awakenings to close the event with a 2-hour set of Techno with Spanish flair.
Op vrijdag 28 november staat de Studio 80 in het teken van de allesbeslissende strijd tussen goed en kwaad. Om dit muzikale gevecht van een goed eind te kunnen voorzien zijn voor deze editie van Carnivale een aantal superheroes uitgenodigd.
Philogresz aka ilker Soylu was born in that huge metropolis of Turkey Istanbul, begin 80's! In the summer of 2002 he moved to Dordrecht / The Netherlands and started his education of music production at Art Academy of Utrecht (HKU). Soon after he has set up his own company 078 Productions. With 078 Productions, he set-up an organization team with an aim to create a new dimension into Southern Holland's and yet into Dutch electronic music scene. He has been working as a promoter for more than 4 years, organizing numerous successful events.
Past 2 years he has been focusing to his own productions and so far has released musical pieces on record labels such as; Black Hole Records (as Nefesz), Manual, TEAM, Stolen Moments & Magnitude Recordings.
Ilker is currently responsible for A&R management of the brand-new record label of Dutch techno master Secret Cinema. And as an artist he will put out the third record release 'Debut on Blackwarm EP' incl. remixes of Secret Cinema and Qbical. This EP is coming out early June and has already received some positive feedbacks from: Progression (Blackhole Records), Nuno Dos Santos (Compost), Literon (Novamute), Joachim and more. His productions so far, have been played/supported by Karotte, Jesse Somfay, Djinxx, Sasha, Literon, Edwin Oosterwal (Rejected), Taras Van De Voorde, Sandeep, Paul Hazendonk, Secret Cinema & Francesco Pico (Global Underground).
Despite his short career in Electronic Music, Philogresz has experienced some remarkable gigs including countries; Italy, France, Turkey & Belgium. On top of these things, he is hosting his very own radio show Dynamix-Radio on every Friday 21:00 CET and inviting the best Dutch / International dj producer as guest, to perform live at his cosy studio!
