99 – 00 Dj-ing across Switzerland. Meeting with Miss Kittin - great helpful friend. Meeting with TDK – Graphic designers, video directors and djs/producers collective. Weetamix + Festival du film de Locarno (projections 25 images/sec.) residencies. Member of Electric Indigo's Femalepressure database.
End 00 – 01 Beginning of her residency at Weetamix alongside Luciano. International expansion. Meeting with Dj Hell. Entering the Gigolo family.
End 01 – 02 "Showroom" and her own Internet Radio broadcast Basic. Peak time for parties (including nice shots from Japan to Brazil). After some ethical misunderstandings with the label, she started to go away from gigolo’s politic. Escorteaze becomes her agent. More and more collaborations with several artists (Luciano, Serafin, Dandy Jack…) and crews (Mutek Chile, Soap System Istanbul, Cosmic Chile Zürich).
03 – 05 Starting a new live project named Junction SM alongside DandyJack which consists on an impressive combination of live and dj sessions that lasts for hours. She did several solo-live sets like in august 04 for the Overground festival. Devoted to her studio, continuing to manipulate sounds and silences…
06 Sonja Leaves Escorteaze agency, and it's better like this. The label/collective ruta5cinco is under reconstruction. A bunch of parties will be organized. A remix for legendary band T21 will appear in spring on Le Maquis records. Junction SM first release is cooking, and Sonja's solo one too..
