Damian Keane and Dave Miller are the two producers/dj's behind Miller & Keane. Together they are responsible for some deep and pounding floorkillers like Instytut Energetyki, Mesmerize and Depth Charge all published on their co-owned Audiosculpture imprint. They are also half of the Sculpturism collective under which moniker they have co-produced tracks such as Dusk and Electribes. A third project has recently been added to these activities. Together with Niels Luinenburg they produce dark and even deeper tracks under the pseudonym Distant Origin. Both dj's have a substantial cv and between them there are not many clubs in Holland they have not performed at. Playing in Poland individually on a regular basis since 1999 other Eastern European countries like Hungary and Tsjech Republic were soon to follow. However it wasn't until the end of 2003 that they performed their first b2b set at a legendary evening with Jeff Mills in The Hague's Paard van Troje. The word spread and soon other promoters from clubs/events like Awakenings, Doornroosje, Effenaar, 013, Poema, Simplon and LVC booked them as a duo. Both dj's have very different musical backgrounds whereas Dave's first contact with dance music was New Wave and Italo Disco. Damian got into the emerging sound of Drum & Bass in 1990 switching to Techno around 1993. The music they play today however is not so different from each other. They are a perfect match complementing each others tracks and always driving the dance floor into a frenzy. Both have a preference for the deeper sound of Techno of the mid nineties combined with well produced tracks from the last couple of years and present as produced on labels such as Tresor, Downwards, Geophone, Synewave, Inceptive and Axis. Miller & Keane will always deliver a diverse, improvised and dance floor friendly set.
