Kerst is natuurlijk niks zonder een goed diner en een kerstboom! Kerst is niks zonder sneeuw(!), kerst is niks zonder sinterklaas.
Once upon a time in a galaxy far, far, away... well, actually the Midwest....
Tony Rohr, originally DJ sQuints from Illinois started his techno career at a college nightclub called 'Stu's'. Along with partner Jeremy Lowrance, they founded the Jelo production team and started throwing one-offs in the area. Soon, they threw a grand scale party called 'Sonic Purity' which rocked the Indianapolis area.
Shortly after graduation Tony moved to Philadelphia to pursue things on the easterly side of America. Tony eventually tapered off his DJ career shortly after his friend Dietrich had mentioned he should "try getting into music gear.." Tony was hooked. He might as well have told Tony to try heroin. Combined with his knowledge of harnessing the power of the Intel Pentium Processor, Tony began experimenting with techno music.
After weeks of traveling back and forth from Philly to New York, Tony finally decided to move to New York. After many a demo and A LOT of work Tony finally released a track called "Radiator" on Hidden Agenda's 'Co-conspirators vol. 1.' EP (HA 03) Soon after the EP 'Martian Lovesongs' (HA 06) came out... and sold out instantly!
In addition from touring city to city performing live, Tony now takes care of the technical side of the label, works on upcoming Hidden Agenda releases, does web stuff, and e-promotions, etc. He enjoys playing goalie for his hockey team the Devil Fish, living in Brooklyn, doing live PAs, and writing about himself in 3rd person.
