Kerst is niks zonder sneeuw(!), kerst is niks zonder sinterklaas.
Erik van Luin a.k.a. GenErik was born in 1982. His parents separated when he was young. For this reason he grew up in different settings. Being the youngest in a musically addicted family, he was very much influenced by his parents and mostly by his older sisters and brother. It was them who got Erik hooked to the magical journey called music.
Momentarily he is still studying International Hospitality Management in The Hague, which he hopes to round off before the summer of 2006. After this, plans exist to dive into music production and events hosting in combination with deejaying.
During an internship in Barcelona 2001, he heard the sounds of Tiga, after purchasing The Montreal Mixed Emotions cd. These so-called “electro” sounds inspired the start of the art of deejaying.
Following artists have been of influence and inspired Erik along the way; Madonna, Prince, Eurythmics, Pet Shop Boys, Frankie goes to Hollywood en Michael Jackson, Josh Wink, Laurent Garnier, Dave Clarke, Carl Cox and Tiga to name a few.....
