Tilburgse dance organisatie City Sounds viert binnenkort haar vijfde verjaardag. Op zaterdag 13 december aanstaande is het groot feest in 013, de locatie waar City Sounds al een aantal jaren succesvol resideert.
Als legendarische DJ, succesvol producer en vooral als baas van het befaamde Gigolo Records, is DJ Hell uitgegroeid tot een waar icoon! DJ Hell mag met recht 'der Kaiser' van de electro techno genoemd worden.
Spanish techno giants Cristian Varela and DJ Pepo will team up again on November 22nd at Awakenings to close the event with a 2-hour set of Techno with Spanish flair.
Rumenige (Toky) and Loktibrada (Dalo) have been playing techno together since 1996 and represent Slovakia’s most famous DJ team. From 1994 through 2003 both were resident DJ’s in Bratislava’s U Club, one of central Europe most well-known locations for high quality techno.
Loktibrada released several EP’s since 1998, most notably for Olga+Josef, Numb, PVC and Antidandruff labels. In 2000 Rumenige started his own productions, also for Numb and Antidandruff. Together they have collaborated with many diverse artists in the electronic music industry including: Regis, Female, Hardcell, Mark Broom, Christian Wunsch, Takaaki Itoh, HU, Boss, Function, Makaton and Oscar Mulero. In 2003 the team released the 12“ „Petrzalka“ on the Tresor label (Tresor.204) and in 2004 a mixed CD „Evergreens & Everblacks“ was released on Antidandruff.
Rumenige and Loktibrada find themselves travelling the world on tour and specific gigs. Their home country Slovakia, plus the Czech Republic, Hungary, Switzerland, Estonia, Canada, Russia, Denmark, Poland and France count among the countries where they have played.
