Monokreck describes his style as "open minded house, from glitchy microhouse to deep techno, and all in between". Melting many styles of electronic music together to create a warm atmosphere on the dancefloor.
Introducing DK7 "Disarmed" the debut album from two maverick producers: Jesper Dahlbäck and Mark O'Sullivan. Disarmed is a unique combination of songs that will surprise fans of their revered acid tinged killer debut single "The Difference".
Mid 80s Cork City Ireland, a far cry from today's Celtic tiger where Mark began exploring the vibrant local music scene. It was rehearsal rooms by day and clubs by night. In 1994 Mark relocated to Stockholm where he began collaborating with various Swedish musicians while at the same time developing his inquisitiveness for mixing acoustic and electronic sounds.
In 1999 Mark set up the King Syndrome Sounds label as a platform for his dub orientated Mighty Quark project which rapidly gained him international credibility for his unique approach to electronic dub music. The success of The Mighty Quark led to a network of worldwide collaborations from London to Paris to Tokyo.
The foundations of Jesper Dahlbäck's musical career began in 1993 as a founding member of Globe Studios where he teamed up with a group of likeminded individuals experimenting with the techno sounds of the early 90s. The output from Globe Studios defined in many ways the Swedish electronic dance music sound delivering releases from many labels such as Svek.
The studio has worked as a test tube for a number of constellations and projects as well as being a production environment for different recording artists.
