much respect!!!
check the latest dj bone attacks:
http://www.7mzdt.com/subjectdetroit/mp3/Attack12-FreshOldAttack.mp3
I recently listened a previous attack-set (number 8 I think), which was quite pounding techno, now he brings a really cool electro / disco-set. great!!
i really appreciate it when an artist doesn't confine himself to one specific sound or "hokje", but keeps a broad view on music. props for dj bone here!
damn, would like to see him in the gashouder.. i'm sure he would know how to rock that joint!!

especially those tribal records he produced....he is by far the only producer that i know that can produce tribal techno without making it sound cheesy, easy or boring. instead he makes it either really raw or really soulful.

Swindled into believing something that’s hype, not talent. Underground has talent. Underground can move in mysterious ways and still get the job done, even more so than someone in the mainstream. It’s covert – it’s not to be seen – it’s not for everyone to put a face on it and market it to the masses. Being in a magazine every month, every week, and being just "entertainment" and not being there for a purpose ... that’s not underground. hmm, sounds a bit "pretentieus" to me. but well, that's part of the detroit-attitude I assume...

Yes, and i sure also agree with you on some pretentious being in it, but 4 my feeling that does apply then on basicly these 2 lines; the " because I’m underground " part and the "that’s not underground. "
Cuz looking at the rest of text, i personally think it is/was a very nice way to put it all in words.. Specially the "dunk vs alley-oop" was "treffend" (again IMO) .. Show vs Quality? Hell yeah .. but ok, also that is a dangerous thing to say offcourse, cuz where/what are + who sets the standards?! It will always be with a major part of own personal taste spiced, i think is fair to say. Don't you think?
The "underground" word/term/name/style/blabla/whatever ppl wanna tag it etc. will always stay something they can never really describe the 100%. (Untaggable YO!)
-> And yeah,my ass then?? Yes,in my name i use it (4 over a decade and waaay before forumsshitz) but NO; any meaning the U-word maybe had for me years ago (a.. "wrong' meaning/view i put with it.. way i see it now) has faded, cuz it is not about the word itself i think now.. A feeling you have (i have) but its everywhere/can be anything..
Better emphasise the 079 part PLZ! most ppl do the opposite though.. but oki
Used this combi since a graff-crew i was in with few lads, end of 80's and.. well, only reason it stays like this, is most ppl know me now like this.. (interesting info huh? )
