Koel, vandaag zullen de gasten bekend zijn, dan zal dat gelijk hier terug te vinden zijn. Verder komt vandaag de uitzending van 05-02-05 met Groovetrackers online. I know, we liggen een beetje achter op schema, maar daar komt asap verandering in!

Gooooo beatcast! HAHAHAHA Dave Clarke on the show great. I'm gonna build me an archive full of shows. If this is the way beatcast is going we can expect some nice things for the future. And while we're at it...can you ask Dave to play some hiphop electro tracks on awakenings..I'll drop down to the floor and crie like a baby if he does...

I have a question for Dave Clarke, something that I have been wondering for a while.
Question:
In your 2004 essential mix on Radio 1....at some point in the whole set there is a part where you spin some electro records, this is the part that I like a lot. In this part you spin two records and while spinning these two records you also use a lot of samples from a variety of other records (keith tucker, lfo etc. etc.). I am guessing that you didn't just use two decks and a djm-600 ? Could you tell me more about this perhaps ? Did you use some sampler or any other tools. or perhaps you are faster than I thought ? ;)
Here is my question...hope it will be asked in the show.

Another Question:
What do you think about the abundance of DJ's in the world right now ? Especially the ease of becoming a DJ....by this I mean being able to buy your own stuff and perform without actually having the skills to do so, somehow it seems that 'taping' two records together is enough these days to become a DJ. How do you feel about this ?
