First some remarks we get from people who hear the term "podcsting", a small article in courtesy of www.podcastx.com:

I've had a few people tell me "But I don't have an iPod!" when I explain podcasting to them. Just in case you were under the same impression, you definitely don't need an iPod to listen to podcasts.
You can listen to podcasts on anything that can play MP3s: your computer (using Windows Media Player, iTunes, Winamp, etc.), your PDA, your MP3 player, or even your cell phone, if it's capable. Anything that can play MP3s can be used to lsiten to podcasts. Hope that clears up a little but of the confusions surrounding this new medium.

For the MAC there's a real cool programm called iPodderX. It's a shareware programm but there's also a LITE (and free) version. Didn't check out the lite version yet, but the normal version is really cool! All Podcasts are listed IN the program itselfs and are very easy to add.

I don't know if I can post my question here, if not, please move to appropriate topic....
My question is this: In Ipodder, beatcast is included as stream. Yesterday, I started up my computer and it started downloading beatcast 19-02 and 12-02. However, my computer crashed (because of something else) and now It won't download them anymore. How can I still obtain the two beatcasts? I was really looking forward to listening to them!

Yes this is a problem indeed, something that has not been resolved on the PC yet I believe. What you can do is delete the part of the files that wás downloaded and try to connect again. If that doesn't work try to delete the whole Beatcast directory on your computer and connect again.
If even that doesn't work, please let me know I'll look into it then.

Same problem here. Deleted the files, but Ipodder won't download files that are already downloaded in the past or somethin..
HELP, really want to listen to the show

I'm a MAC user so I don't have these problems. At the MAC with the iPodderX client the sollution is "clear history". Don't know if there's such an option. Maybe de-install and install it again...

Ok the shows can now also be downloaded through www.beatcast.nl (so not only through a podcatching program anymore). Oughta be more user-friendly this way...

you probably mean.. If you use the Podcast you don't have to download it anymore...

Just downloaded the new iPodder2 final release and it really ROCKS! Finally a download-meter built in, and multiple downloads are possible.

The download speed is incredible. I downloaded last beatcast +/- 100mb within 30seconds.

Altered the www.electronationradio.com website a bit... new from now on is the Skip Tip  (which will be audio in the near future of course)

Ok we experienced some technical issues over the last few days, but everything is up and running again.
This time we'll STAY online due to a tight cooperation between the hosting sponsor and ourselves. Unfortunately though we have to re-upload all the podcasts :-(
