Hello everyone ..

I have been receiving the Beatfreax newsletters for ages and decided it was time for me to come and have a look a what is going on.

I live in Melbourne, Australia.
We have a fantastic music industry comparable to most developed scenes around the globe, in which I am proud to making a small dent.

I have been dj-ing for nearly ten years now and producing for two.

(incidentally - I would love to get some remixing and collaborations going across the airwaves! If anyone is keen let me know!)

Within the last year and a half I have signed with two labels and have witnessed a huge bounce in the bookings I am making.

I toured Europe in 2005 and plan on coming back toward the end of next year .. so making contact with you guys, I feel, would be wise!

Anyway .. thats me introduced!!

I hope you're all having a good week!

Cheers and beers!

Yeah it does .. it'll never die (unfortunately) .. But I am happy that it has spread globally - much to my surprise I witnessed shufflers all throughout europe!!

Some group also made a dvd about it and a tribute party etc etc .. So totally strange!! But I guess thats how fads go .. even hypercolour tee-shirts took the workd by storm!! ha!

Hey Nicnac, welcome to the show man!

You must be bummed out we switched (back) to Dutch again, right? Who knows, with the current visitor rates and stats I might well consider switching back agáin icon_wink.gif

Curious about your mixing by the way, we don't here a lot from down under over here. If you are interested you could send us a 1-hour-mix we could use for the podcast? Mixes are piling up at the moment, but nevertheless we would love to get more!

I hear you on the language front .. I just added a label and a couple of the affiliated artists and I could't tell if I was doing the right thing or not!! hehe

I even copied and pasted text into BabelFish but all it spat out at me was gobble-de-goop so that was no help either!!

I managed to get it all done in the end ..

Podcasts sound like a fantastic idea Delft!

I have a few mixes uploaded .. I am not sure which link to post though ..

All mixes are on my myspace (under the sounds like section) if you wanna have a listen?

If you can't be bothered just let me know and I'll pick one of them ..

Ha thanks, I'll def listen to them!

For the podcast we'll need an "exclusive" though, that's the policy icon_smile.gif
