After his summer smash hit "Napolitanzer" together with Fokko Versloot it was time for Beatfreax to ask him to do a mix for our podcast. And here it is! An awesome mix with tracks by e.g. Nils Number, Dimitri Andreas, Lopazz and of course the man himself.

After too little sleep I had some starting up problems... The last half hour by Bart Skils sounded nice but Troy couldn't catch my attention, just like Heartthrob's live performance... But then Richie put his first record on...
After his kinda disappointing performance at Awakenings the expectations were less high but Richie started off the way I love hearing him! Deep heavy basslines, subtile hihats, filtered mixes (or maybe I should use the word blending in stead of mixing) and great tension that won't let you go! I planned to go and see Gui Boratto, but richie took us on a trip and didn't allow me to leave the room... Wow!! Finally Hawtin proved again why he is my favourite dj. After the trip of almost three hours, the applause showed I wasn't the only one who loved this set. Richie seemed really satisfied also thanking the crowd and playing Heartthrob's min2MAX track as a desert (offcourse with some Hawtin-sugar-on-top).
In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.
