Zo weer een beetje bijgekomen, Soulcialism was leuk maar niet zo leuk als vorig jaar. Dat zal ongetwijfeld aan de nieuwigheid gelegen hebben maar ook aan een aantal andere zaken.
Zo werd bij binnenkomst iedereen verplicht naar Zoot Woman te luisteren omdat alleen die oude grote loods open was en de rest van het terrein nog potdicht. En Zoot Woman was voor mij totaal niet interessant...
Rond half één ging dan eindelijk het hek open waarna we de Wighnomy's gelijk een handje hebben geschud in de Geplöckel  Dat was ook het enige moment dat het nog een beetje uit te houden was daar, jammer dat die trafokamer zo druk en heet werd de rest van de nacht.
Veel gelegen op het plein onder de partytentjes want buiten werd er prima gedraaid, Drama Society was goed te doen. Jammer dat ik van een aantal andere acts op het terrein geen idee had wie het was omdat dat nergens echt stond aangegeven en ik had ook geen timetable bij me. Op een gegeven moment stond er in de grote loods een of andere gefreakte kerel een soort live electro te maken, erg vet klonk dat, maar wederom geen idee wie het nou was
Wink was erg vet, stond lekker met sampler en Xone92 te spelen en kreeg de zaal echt goed mee. Vanaf 7 uur kon niemand de Geplöckel meer in en als je eruit was kon je gelijk oprotten van het terrein... persoonlijk vond ik dat niet erg want mijn batterij was leeg maar vond het wel een beetje abrubt einde van de nacht. Dat was vorig jaar wel een beetje anders geregeld.
Ben benieuwd of er volgend jaar nog een editie komt en wat de lineup dan zal zijn, de locatie is het zeker waard om nog een keer te gaan...

For Germany the spirit was very quit / leise / matjes, but it was also very relaxed. The roof wasn't on fire but I had a very good night.
The first time I really liked a set of the Whigomy brothers (not a downloaded set) and Wink was nice - as always - but not impressive to me!

Hier mn verslag van Front Anti Hip:
Erg vet feest gehad...
Wij, eric, duncan en johan... hebben besloten om ons te wagen naar de vette stad Keulen waar Pollerwiesen plaats zou gaan vinden in een park aan het water...
In de auto zaten we dermate goed dat we maar hebben besloten om nog maar een extra stuk snelweg te pakken... Dit resulteerde in een aankomst bij een vliegveld in de buurt van Keulen...
Hierna toch maar richting stad gegaan en hier heerlijk rond gereden tot dat het feest zou gaan beginnen...
10:00 uur... 20 mensen tot de conclusie komen dat micheal Meyer niet draait maar Pascal Feos en dat pas om 18:00 uur, tot die tijd moesten we het doen met dj, Meat (wat een lachertje, DACHTEN we)... Niets was minder waar.. Na een sound check van een half uur begon de muziek voor inmiddels 50 man... VETTE sounds aan t water, ineens stil..
De Verering was begonnen, een stuk of 30 boten/bootjes begonnen te varen vanaf een brug... Klasieke muziek/zang koren/gekkegeit... Stoppen ze bij de volgende brug, wat denk je... Varen ze allemaal achteruit terug... ( 2km ), we d8en dat we gek werden...
De middag brak aan, warmte, warmte, maar daar was de brandweer... Een koude douch voor iedereen... Inmiddels was de drukte opgelopen tot 4000/5000 man.. En het leek net of er een mode show gaande was, wat een mooie mensen... En dj Meat, wat een DIKKE vETTE duitZe HouZe.. Echt super... Pascal Feos begon om 18:00 uur.. en echt (klinkt raar) hij draaide echte super vette platen, kom je er toch weer achter waar Keulen voor staat pfff.. vet...
Na de laatste dans sessie van Eric en mij toch echt maar huiswaarts gekeerd want er moest ook nog gereden worden... Ramen open, doe maar uit de boxen... en volgas naar ons Kikkerlandje.. VET

Josh Wink was great...The first time i saw him, never got the chance before. Anyway, Josh was also the only one i really listened too for a while, for the rest it was walking around and do some socialising (yes, the party is worth it's name!!)...Everything i heard was okay, but i was more busy with talking, chilling on one of the many great places to chill...beds, couches, trains, it was all possible. Especially the outdoor stage was great..., relaxing music very well spinned together by i don't know who, nice temperature, i loved it.
Next year (if there's one) i will be there again...if it was only for the location it's already worth the trip and the day off.

Nice party, but the end was lame, very lame. My batteries were just getting warmed up! Had to play football afterwards to get rid of some energy. 
Josh Wink was very cool, allthough i didn't really see him al lot. I was waiting for the last hours of the party, to spend them with Wink. Unfortunately that wasn't an option. Closing time after seven. Bit lame. Also a shame that the party wasn't to crowded. The(most beautiful) room, with Passarani and Morgan Geist, was almost completly emtpy. A shame, because Geist really really rocked! Phat italo, only two records that i recognised. Stood there alone for a while during Passarani. Really too bad, could have danced my ass of there all night. But all by myself?.... I wasn't that wasted.
Bustrip back was fun as well. We got out on the highway. Pretty hilarious, but Marnix was right, only ten minutes away from our friends house. A nice house, with a nice garden, with nice beer. We kept the spirit alive until it was officially friday. Really getting a hang of that after/ nazit stuff. Takes some practice, but i am gettting better and better.
Special thanks to Kitty and Bas Jan and ofcourse; Erwin, the man who risked his life to get the ball out if the bushes!
now I am going to search for photo's!!

i had a really good night....Zoot woman was the shit...and WB and josh Wink rocked the place...
Nice location and a nice crowd....
the afterhour @julianapark was good a well...but really hot...

This location is marvellous: in every room candles, strange lights and even coffins in one room, how bizarre! The weather was good so we all could sit outside and look at an actual locomotive in the garden! The Geplöckel Kammer is so good for this kinda occasions: the intimacy and the atmosphere make you forget that it's crowded and warm. Drama Society, the WB and Tiefschwarz were good and Wink made the party complete. Unfortunately the end was a bit abrupt. But the soccer game on the parking-lot with girls tricking boys was nice too. After the teribble ride back home, the story continued in the Vondelpark. Excellent journey!

leuk feest!
muziekaal niet echt heel boeiend ofzo.
Geen hele bijzondere dingen gehoord.
Vond denk ik Erobique in de grote zaal het beste.
Die locatie maakte echt het feest.
Heerlijk overal gechilled.
Publiek vond ik wel een beetje matjes, en vooral vroeg naar huis.
Pollerwiesen de volgende dag was echter wel een klapper van formaat. Zoals Emiel al zei, Dj Meat een regelrechte held. Dikke pompende duitse house, heel veel onbekende platen. Zonnetje erbij, mooi grasveldje, mooie mensen.... knallen maar! Echt top. En wonder boven wonder Pascal FEOS, ik kon me hem herinneren als een 13 in dozijn rammen techno dj, maar oh wat verraste de beste man me met een heerlijk diepe housy platenkeuze. jaja jongens, de zomer is begonnen.

Arrived at 1:00 and had a really nice trip to Essen. No problem finding the spot this year.
First thing I saw was that it was not so crowded as last year, but the night is still young so the people will drop in later on……
Did not noticed the music that much. It was more like a talking and walking night/morning. What I heard, WB was very nice and Josh started strong. Outside the music was nice and even nicer to chill under the stars. After a night of walking/talking decided to go into the geplockel to start the morning. But when entering the geplockel it had not the vibe like it was going on till 10:00. And indeed 20 min later josh set ended a little abrupt and soulcialism was ended. Little bit flabbergasted that it ended so soon.
Had a really nice time @ soulcialism, unfortunately it was not the vibe that it had last year. We mist the german geschreeuw, gejoel handjes in de lucht…etc
After Soulcialism we wanted to go to Pollerwiesen. But to wait for 4,5 hours for a party after this abrupt ending. NO way. So we decided to go back home and enjoy the sun. But we were not the only one who wanted to go to the Netherlands. This ended in a really fucked up trip home. But it was worth it.

jammer man. je had inderdaad gewoon naar keulen moeten rijden. het wachten daar was eigenlijk ook al erg leuk. maffe duitsers hadden een processie op de rijn, iets van 30 boten met kerkgezang en een prevelende priester kwamen voorbij getrokken.

hello freax,
first of all i have to thank you all for your great support and the fine spirit that you brought to soulcialism this year.
but....i also have to send a big sorry and excuse as well for the abrupt ending of the party.
it sounds krank...but it was....a communication problem between the secutrity and the management.
as josh stopped the music to rest a little and test the reaction....the security thought it`s over...and sent everybody out.
i was as much as surprised as josh....after we realized what happend....and i can tell you....josh felt really guilty cause he thought it was his fault....which it wasn`t.
so...i`m thinking bout what we can do for you as an excuse......give me two or three days and i hopefully will have a proper plan how to arrange s.th. for you as all of us workin on soulcialism really feel deeply sorry for this mistake.

I am sure that your story is not really correct.
I believe that the security didn't really want to go on anymore. I was outside together with some other people when we were not allowed in anymore by the security. They said: "Feierabend, es ist schluss!"
After that Wink must have spinned for another ten or fifteen minutes. I think you people have been fucked by those security people.....
I am sure that it is not your fault. Everybody from the Soucialism crew I spoke was really enthousiastic about everything. Thumb's up! Even looked for you, but asking for 'soulcialist' didn't get us verry far
