He’s the bad boy of the Amsterdam techno underground: Daniel Sanchez, 26 year old son of a Spanish father and a Dutch mother, who scored one of the biggest hits of the summer of 2007 with the infectious ‘Mumbling yeah’. Daniel’s ‘mumbling’ vocals give the track that special edge.

Here is the third release on the M_nus sub label, managed by Magda, Troy Pierce and Marc Houle. This time it is not in V.A. format but the ep is entirely produced by Brazilian duo Click Box.
8 tracks on this release, of which 4 only digitally available. ‘The Frail’ is a somewhat housy track, nice bassline suitable for the earlier evening. But hey! There’s more to be said as there is a terrific break right towards the end which actually makes this track very appropriate for other parts of the night as well. Unexpectedly good!
Then obviously there is ‘Funk K Mouth’ a massive hit among the M_nus crew and in essence there should be props for Click Box. This production simply is a great track with some awesome sounds! It’s the simplicity that does the trick here.
Sadly there’s not much other stuff worth mentioning. All the other tracks lack originality, character and are very much average. 2 tracks out of 8 are actually good and therefore, it very much worth considering whether to buy a whole release or rather stick to the ones that are worth taking space on your hard disk.
