A year ago I said minimal would be dead by now, seems I was wrong... it's more alive than ever before. This fact is proven again and again by the likes of Kompakt, Karmarouge and other obscure German (and Dutch!) labels.

This new Karmarouge mix album will keep you swinging for a few days I'm sure. Minimal masterminds like Luciano, Gabriel Ananda, Pablo Akaros show what their made of on this delightful compilation. Starting with a typical Luciano-track "Ciboulette" we gently flow into more relaxed sounds by Brightlight and Sain, to pick up the pase with Daniel Mehlhart's "Am Anfang was es minimal". From here on the album really takes of beat over beat layer over layer to peak just after the somewhat chaotic "Sternenglanz" with Pablo Akaros' "Rich Kids On LSD". Man this track rocks só hard! 100% guarantee Steve Bug plays this one to tear up the dancefloor.

Fading out with the mellow "For Love" by Gabriel Ananda this album again proves minimal is still heading forward, pushed by the creativeness of the many new producers and production techniques coming available.
