Monokreck describes his style as "open minded house, from glitchy microhouse to deep techno, and all in between". Melting many styles of electronic music together to create a warm atmosphere on the dancefloor.
Op vrijdag 26 december zal VOLTT dit jaar nog eenmaal goed uitpakken voor een knallende afsluiting van 2008. Op 2e kerstdag zal de Paradiso namelijk in het teken staan van VOLTT met een hoop vooruitstrevend talent en gerenommeerde artiesten.
In navolging van het overdonderende geweld op het tot nok toe gevulde CLiCK feest tijdens het Amsterdam Dance Event krap twee maanden geleden, maakt de organisatie zich op voor een nog meeslepender en vooral intiemer spektakel.
De jaarwisseling neemt altijd een beetje spanning met zich mee, meestal met de grote groep dierbaren die je hebt is het altijd een beetje onderling onderhandelen. Wel uit, niet uit, wel thuis, niet thuis, wel afteren, niet afteren, wel werken, niet werken...

It was such a good night at the Poema!
Really, really bloody hot it was in there, it really felt like a free sauna...
Luckily they handed out ice-popsicles, very nice!
Musicaly it was ok too. Daniel Bell a bit too minimnal for the crowd that was alreay dancing enthousiasticly at Jason and the Argonauts.. Barem was ok and Zip was the man of the evening, great set!
Wasdex was ok too, but too bad for him and the people that all of a sudden the lights were turned on and the music stopped..
Dan Bell played really nice, beautiful records. A lot of old records, acid house etc. He built up his set very very good, taking it further step by step. Maybe his set was a bit too 'relaxed' for the crowd, but to me it was great!
Barem played really nice. So young, so talented!
Minimal techno with a bite.
And then ZIP. Best DJ in the world to me!!! (OK, together with Jeff Milligan + Richie)
Awesome choice of records, and very charismatic behind the decks! The crowd was so good during his set: shouting, whistling, screaming! Thanks!
To be short: to me it was hot, both in temperature as in music!
