Monokreck describes his style as "open minded house, from glitchy microhouse to deep techno, and all in between". Melting many styles of electronic music together to create a warm atmosphere on the dancefloor.

After a hell of a night in Nieuwegein (those who were there know what i mean clap ) I planned on going to Eindhoven but due to missing a train I ended up here, which i dont regret!
Because of the 3 very crowded and energetic specials in January and the specials which are ahead of us (Vitalic, Tomorrow, James Holden to name a few) the night was destined to be less crowded than what is usual the case at a Planet Rose special. But what did me good, was to see that the back room was filled with people till the bitter end! Good work by the magnetronik & Pixel crew, who kept the audience warm with nice minimal, electro and 'everything in between' records and livesets! Respect.
But this also meant that the main room was only half-filled in it's most crowded hours (2 to 4) and much less in earlier and later hours..
Pepe Bradock played from 1.30 till 3.30 and even though his set was a bit inconstant I heard some fine deephouse records (one record with great electric organ melody!) Because i liked what i heard in the big room i mostly stayed there, with some visits to the back room where Wesdex surprised me with some great electro tunes !
But, as i said, i was more orientated on the main. That had mainly to do with the fact that Miss Yetti had taken place behind decks. Wow, what a great techno and techhouse tunes she played (dancing and dreaming away all the time) and what a nice attitude she has!
She was smiling all night, waving her arms and dancing as if she was playing for a full Roosje. Unfortunately she wasn't, at around 4.30 people either left or were in the back room which meant there were less than 30 ppl there to see her and to dance their asses off like i did (or staring at her beauty, which i also regularly did whistle )
I really thought she deserved better but i guess it wasnt meant to (reason i gave earlier) Gladly she seemed to enjoy herself pretty good, which convinced me even more of the fact that she's Great; having such a good time while not getting as much support as she deserved!
Ah well, it's normal that some planets are better visited than others so I won't blame anyone for not coming to Roosje or not being in the main area the last hours of course, and hey i've had a good time !
I hope someone else can tell you more about the artists in the back room )
Hell, we were thinking of going to roosje, but i tought there wasn't a planet going on. Being too lazy to check if there was one resulted in a 'balancenight' (wich i could actually use though). Too bad...
Let me explain to you just what i mean, let me teach y'all a lesson 'bout this drummachine!
Well, Uneek wrote a pretty big report of the night already, so I'll just give my idea of the evening.
I wasn't that crowded indeed and that was mostly too bad for the dj's that all did do their best and deserved a bigger crowd indeed.
They all seemed to enjoy themself anyway and so were the visitors.
I did some dancing in the back room, than in the big room and I changed room many, many times.
Talked to nice people, danced a lot, was totally annoyed by the sleepingtrousers-girl (who seemed to enjoy herself by 'accidently' bump into other people over and over and over... ), heard some great and nice and unexpected tracks and bliepjes.
For me, it just wasn't my night!
Was really looking forward to hearing Pepe Bradock, but the rumours I heard about him (that he is a better producer than DJ), were unfortunally true!
Although I heard some verry nice records from him, I couldn't discover a line or logical record selection in his set, so I couldn't find my "groove" !
The times I went into the small room, the music didn't please me either. The kind of minimal that was played there sounded to clickie for me, so I mainly stayed in the main room.
When Miss Yetti starded with a few records I didn't like also I deceided it was better for me too call it a night, and go back home were I had a delicious salmon sandwich (highlight of the evening for me ) and went to bed!
I must agree with Lieke here!
Normally not really one of my favorites, but it's fantastic to see someone enjoying herself.
Smiling the whole set and having lots of fun although it was basictly just us standing in front of her...
I had a wonderful night. Musically A-Okay! I thoroughly enjoyed Pepe Braddock and was pleasantly surprised by Yetti's performance. this was the best I've heard of her. Maybe because she's usually booked for a different sound than her own in Holland. With just a couple of listeners she could play whatever she wanted.
