Monokreck describes his style as "open minded house, from glitchy microhouse to deep techno, and all in between". Melting many styles of electronic music together to create a warm atmosphere on the dancefloor.

WOOOOOOOOOW.
What a party!!!!!!!!!!
They rocked playing one after the other for almost six hours!!!
They played from minimal to harder techno, from detroit to wicked electro, it was awesome.
They both were so exited that they kissed themselves several times, a couple of them using the tounge, they jumped over the crowd to be lifted by everyone's hands, Sven got in front of Richie and did some kind of strip-tease dance, they used the vynil cases (the flat ones) as hats.
So what I saw sunday morging wasn't so unique But is was very amusing to see
It was a shame that Sven wanted to play B2B with Hawtin, after Hawtin started to play solo there was not really a line in his set and therefor in my eyes not so special as I expected it to be. For me the highlight of the night was LUCIANO, what a fucking great set he played!!!

All thumbs down for Sven! He already had is 3 hours of djing, so I really don't understand why he did this. You really could feel a wave of disapointness in the crowd every time Sven started to shoot in the mic or play one of his "Bravo Hits". We came to see 6 hours of Richie. If I want to see a clown I'll play my "Bassie and Adriaan - The best off DVD".
BUT..
I heared the nicest tunes from Loco Dice, Luciano and Hawtin (at least the last few hours) and the group of people who drove along in the Kitty bus made the party. So Timewarp was really nice.
I had a good night sleep, but I'm still not really back on earth..
I had a great evening/night/morning/afternoon!
Good music, nice sphere, happy people, very 'gemutlich' to see so many familair dutch people everywhere, enjoyed watching the german shuffle-dance-steps.
Off the people i heard (you always miss just as much, with more rooms) I liked the most: James Holden, Tiefschwarz ('Energy Flash' nice to dance on that one at such a big party!), Karotte, Mathew Jonson and Luciano.
And Richie (ehm.. I think he played it anyway.. names and songs and everything is a bit blurry after that many hours of partying) played Solid Groove's "This is Sick", only danced on that in my own room up untill then
Well well well, wasn't this the great work-out session. A 14+ hour round the clock dance-a-thon. The sound was great, you could really feel it, and the visuals were ok. I heard a lot of nice tunes on the night, but only Karotte and Luciano produced some really memorable moments.
In between sets an unusual amount of time got spent in the festival wardrobe... That's a first. Wasn't there supposed to be a bonafide chill-out area somewhere? Another thing was the complete lack of decent toilets. It drove all the piss-crazed women to the men's room, where they hit the 'wall of sound' produced by the haupttoilettenkommandant. Poor things. If you want to make your point loud and clear, the German language is the one to use though.
Richie Hawtin's six hour set was supposed to be the grand finale, but Svennie had to clown around and completely ruined it. He f i n a l l y left the stage near the end, but at that time I could no longer be bothered. A rough two nights had finally settled in and I was ready to shut up. As I am now...
The back2back issue with Sven & Richie was disappointing, aspecially if you remeber Richie's set from 2005. But Luciano was briljant, what a blast. One of the best sets if heard in a long time. Realy looking forward to the Cadenza night at Planet Rose.

LOL.. Makes perfect sense you didn't find as it was a 5 minute walk. You had to go outside, then walk to the end of the street where the market was... Et Voila! (I was lucky I had some some experienced TWvisitors by my side)
Amazing party! Luciano definitly man of the night!
Don't understand why Magda keeps playing with FS 1.5...
Again she had 2 start-up problems, FS hung and then a laptop crash...

Agree!
I was hoping for a story to be told by Hawtin...I missed it completely.

R.E.S.P.E.K.T.
thanx for forgetting your jas
HAHA LOL!! I was sitting in the bus behind you! Thanks for the great laugh!!!
It really was one hell of a trip, ritchie didn't make a superb story like last year, probably because of meister Sven. Somebody that now has a lot of puke over him
It was still great to see Ritchie play his work with the stunning sound over @ the Maimarkthalle....
The rest of the party I was enjoying, enjoying and enjoying, everywhere I came; Holden, Tiefschwarz, Karotte, Murphy, Villalobos to name a few.
Especially Karotte and the Disco Boys really made me dance my socks off!
What a night, then again.....what a weekend....
Je moet je leven niet dromen, je moet je dromen leven!!!
Finally i'm back home, and hell yeah what a weekend it was!! Timewarp wasn't as perfect as last year, but still a great party! Hawtin's set could have been better indeed, the reasons are obvious. Furthermore i didn't heared complete sets, but the things i heared overall were quite nice. I do regret that i didn't see Karotte play. But hell, the whole bustrip (thanks again to the kitty crew!!), party (thanks to all the people!) and after (thanks again to marnix and the rest!!) were just great! Now i'm going to take a well earned shower because my smell starts working as a tranquilizer.
Let me explain to you just what i mean, let me teach y'all a lesson 'bout this drummachine!
it was a really great day-evening-night-morning-afternoon, really had a ball, heard some really great music, met quite a few beatfreakies as well (who I had not met before)
I wasn´t there, and probably Sven Vath did ruin Hawtin´s set.
But I don´t know, I like Vath because of his spontaneity and with this spontaneity he has given away some unforgettable sets (like other djs)..
The man fucked up this time, but I hope he keeps up doing these kind of things (with better sense of timing, don´t get me wrong) as he always has done..
How boring it would be without djs doing these kinds of things..
