Monokreck describes his style as "open minded house, from glitchy microhouse to deep techno, and all in between". Melting many styles of electronic music together to create a warm atmosphere on the dancefloor.
Was a real nice evening in the WMF Sommerlager. Glas the bouncers didn't checked us so the vodka was present! :-) When we came in Ralf Kollmann was playing, but that was soooo boring. The guy played some nice records but he had NO mixing skills. Petty...
After him (about 2) Sleeparchive started his live set which was pretty amazing. The crowed picked it up pretty well and his music was minimal to the max. On our way to the party we heared an interview with in on the radio and he told that his 4th release will come out in September!
After Sleeparchive Falko Brocksieper played a very nice set. The guy has great skills and he really feels the music. (RESPECT)
But for me The Winner Of The Evening was the liveset from The Kooky Scientist. What The Fuck!!! This guy sits like a robot behind his laptop but the music he's bringing is so BANGING!!! Everybody dansed his ass off. What a great gig that was.
Last of the evening was Anja Schneider, but as the club was already pretty empty at 7 we decided to go to the Ostgut.
Fred Giannelli aka The Kooky Scientist from Boston made some essential tracks for Richie Hawtin 's Label Plus 8 in the early ninetieths .
Since those days Fred producing some of the finest techno and minimal tracks as The Kooky Scientist, as well as his working with Richie Hawtin and Dan Bell on the Spawn project for Plus 8, many have noted the Fred is one to watch in the future - like 2005 he is back on the german label Sub Static with "Mosquito Bytes", a track you will find in a lot of DJ Charts. We are proud to present him with an energetic live set in Berlin
I really liked Sleeparchive, great maximal techno. One of the best things I've heared so far this year I've had a great night and it was nice to meet you Merlijn & Eralda!
Falko Brocksieper played also before Ralf Kollmann and that was also very nice. Good dj and much better than the boring Ralf Kollmann.
