In the back room i felt like mr Mario catching tomatos and lookin for his princess. Nice crazy preformances but it wasn't realy my kind of music..Highlight for me was the guy with the amiga on his head..(thnx Jay)
In the main Peter was spinning really Pure, great atmosphere, it must have been very easy for Mr Clarke to take over, cause Pure did a hell of a job..
02.30 Dave Clarke entered after 10 years of absence the main of the planet..
And i really like it, funky techno, great mixing, scratchin, crazy vocals, pumpin music and a crowd going wild..
In the end, Mr dave showed me his finger, what do you need more...This is hardcore..YEAH!!!
(enjoy the pics, folks..!!)
P.S Clarke playing 'The Chief' from Tony Scott in the end of his set was really the bomB..

Everybody was excited, the atmosphere was good and happy.
Small area was very original, funny music! Interesting to see that the artist there were kind of nerdy-like and were all standing in a corner, listening to the one performing, not dancing at all.
In the main area, at the end of Pure's set, the people were waiting for Mr. Clark to get on stage.. Lots of excitment in the air.... and there he was!
Very pumping, energetic set!! It was crowded, it was superhot, it was great!
And man, he can really do lots of things while playing (like DNNS wrote, all the scratich and everything).
Enjoyed myself the whole evening, danced like I never danced before, yiiihaaa!
(And a song from Tony Scott indeed! )

Good and funky set from Pure...Then Dave Clark...(Ok, I know he is 'a hero')
But...For me it was an ok set. I heard some nice records, specially the records with hip hop and miami bass influences, but overall for me he's not that special.
Did he only played with cd's btw?
But it was nice to see that it was such a good evening for Roosje, and that's always perfect!

dave was rockin the place pretty damn hard! supercool set with lots of influences, and rocksolid mixes. too bad it was a little crowded but i think many people preferred the music in the main room over the crazy computer bleeps in the backroom so the main room was kind of like overloaded. oh well, we'll have some more dancing space some other time.

During pure we moved to the backroom where uptempo computer beats were waiting. It sounded to cool but unfortunately it was the last track. I was truly amazed that DJ Changeover was playing here as well. I saw this dude at a lot of parties this year. Back to the mainroom Pure was spinning his last records and the crowd was getting heavier and heavier and we were forced back to the bar. No problems with that...I like short delivery channels.
The crowd was getting nervous at 0200 and at 0215 Dave Clarke got behind the wheels of....euhm cd decks. I went down to Roosje with my hopes on an electro orientated set of Dave Clarke, but his first records made me clear he was aiming for something else. Like many said before me it was pumping music with a break somewhere in the middle where he made room for some electro records. Now when this man spins electro I go nuts...and so I did. I never left the main room during his set just because I was afraid he would play those songs I wanted to hear so badly during my visit to the backroom. A few years ago you heared more tricks and flicks than songs but during the years it seems like he found a very nice balance in his mixing skills. Putting two or thee 4x4 records to one breakbeat piece of music he made me dance till late in the evening.
Roosje kicks ass...but that aint new to many.

My English is quit well and I speak it daily, but I prefer to speak and write Dutch if it's a site with 98 percent (or even more) Dutch people.
Besides, I prefer OUR Dutch language and I like to play with words which is quit hard if another language isn't your native language.
Good beye, because also for me, postings will be very incidental.

Slightly more ontopic: I saw the micromusic acts the day before on ADE. Boy, did they rock. When people are limited to oldschool apparatuur it always seems that they are a lot more innovative then others..
Must get my hands on a LSDj cartridge...

Posts: 146 Events: 4 | | Posted: 02-11-2005 17:34:57 | | | OFF TOPIC: BuT a poll would be fun !
even when you have ambitions to serve a wither community....it should be important to know how many folks will continue reporting from parties...
i mean l was shocked about the comments about ade...
i think the forum party idea should be talking about the event you have been to because it is fun to read...the diehard folks will continue to post...but i think al lot of beatfreaxss won't ...
so what is to goal then??
i doubt that a lot of foreigners will suddenly react on dutch parties..and if they don't it is not so rare because they don't live here......

i more like the idea of freedom of speach....

amen : so bring on that poll
