He’s the bad boy of the Amsterdam techno underground: Daniel Sanchez, 26 year old son of a Spanish father and a Dutch mother, who scored one of the biggest hits of the summer of 2007 with the infectious ‘Mumbling yeah’. Daniel’s ‘mumbling’ vocals give the track that special edge.
Tegenstellingen leiden tot de mooiste dingen, zo blijkt ook uit de samenwerking tussen disco-housemeester Hans-Peter Lindstrøm en zangeres Christabelle Sandoo, voorheen bekend als Solale.
Wellll.... all the Dutch Mayday-people still hybernating?
Man what a party is was again, without a doubt the best indoor party of the year by a long shot! People just go nuts on every record, well dressed, cool looks!
My peaks: Plump's, Slater, Wighnomy's, Galuzzi, walking around, sitting at the top-ring looking down on the lasers, talking to Dutch-speaking Germans.... LOVE IT!!!
Stay tuned for the pix.... I'll guarentee you they ROCK!
Not my first party... but my first time mayday! and i loved it! The cheering really gave me goosebumps now & then. Shame not all the acts were my cup of tea.. really disliked denkigroove & those guys in plastic bags after Plump Dj's. besides that it was all good!
Slater, Wighnomy's, plumdjs, i even listened to ferry corsten and couldnt escape thinking trance was gettin more grownup. prehaps it was the atmosphere...
the biggest dissappointment was Dj Hell... prolly expected to much.. but all those hits; emerge, shari vari, la rock. and the fact he played with cd's.. really a bummer.
ghegheghe ......... this is the kind of party which feels like it's your first........... everytime you go there.
Butterfly stomach, forgetting everything you need (money, pasport, batteries) and the overwhelming feeling entering the main-hall with THE best soundsystem we've ever heard. For those who've been there, you know what we mean
After we've arrived we just sat down for a few minutes at the top row of the building, watching the mainhall with it's spectacular lightshow.
MAN, 4 moving light-rigs, totally independant from each other giving the area a totally different appearance every time. The lasers (from two sides of the hall) completed the picture. It was almost alien
The line-up is so massive, it's impossible to visit all the acts & Dj's. Even with the program we made in advance we missed sets but also saw complete new acts. That's also the charm of Mayday.
The first set we've been to was in the Gigolo-area, Justice DJ team. They made a great impression right on. Funky dance-able tunes and a screaming crowd......... ok, not new, but at 21.00 ?? Love the Germans
And then the plump Dj's........... as we knew a lot of Beatfreax where going there we had a little meeting in front of the DJ booth. Great music, great people, already Mayday was a huge succes!!!!!!
Deichkind, Mick Wills, the last part of Ferry Corsten , and then our heroes, Lexy & K-Paul. Shame their act was not that energetic as we've expected, but hey, the crowd was screaming, dancing, waving.
After that we had programmed a little break, good for us 'cause we had a midnight stroll through Dortmund. We even met a nice police-men showing the way
And then................... M.O.M. !!!!!!!!! Members of Mayday !!!!!!! Dutchies, we can learn something about this "act"!!!!!!!!!! Don't know how to describe this, but you have to see this to believe it. A huge hall, full with people, no dj, no live-act, no sound, just thousands of people screaming MAYDAY MAYDAY MAYDAY. Scary?? not a bit, it's brilliant! And when you're there you know, you are a member of MAYDAY..............
The most dance-able set was Galuzzi. What a fun we had in the Brandenburg allstar floor. Funny faces by mister Galuzzi, fun people and lots of smoke.........
Joris Voorn (shame the crowd was already getting tired ??), Hell, Tiefschwarz don't know anymore what was happening. So around 8.00 we took a break in the sunshine and we headed home............
For sure, next year again, but for now, we're looking at the pictures, with a huge smile.............. www.pulse.demon.nl

The crowd wasn's getting tired but obvious it was a little quit due to the next act...Liebing. Liebing was so fucking great (although last year his set was boring) and the crowd went totally crazy. After Lieb(l)ing a lot of people went home....tired?!

I'll be there!
(I really couldn't believe this year so many people stayed in the Netherlands although last year's Mayday was for a lot of Dutch people one of the party's of that yeare). Since about 1997 I never saw/heard so less Dutch people...but I don't care!
