Loveland presenteerde tijdens het Amsterdam Dance Event de officiële DVD van Loveland Festival 2008. Ruim 40 professionals hebben zich tijdens het festival ingezet om de mooiste momenten vast te leggen.
Prutt started collecting music at a very young age back in '91.
Back then it was mostly Hip-Hop and early electro, he caught the bug listening to a mix-tape by Cash Money! About a year later he attended a underground house party and was completely intoxicated by the music (and not only by the music), but the whole concept! His heart went out to the Chicago sound from DJ Deeon and the hypnotic Techno sound by the likes of Blackdog.
He has worked in record stores for most of his life. When he entered the clubs back in '94, people found his music to be too vague and from that point on Prutt was doomed to be the king of the after-parties!(you know how these commercial bitches are!) His own growth in music has always been the most important to him, which did not make him famous but very-well respected by the in-crowed and all the DJ's. Instead of the fame he decided to stay true to the game (and to himself)!
His style fluctuates from a deep-rooted all-out disco-funk- to nauseating Electro Aciidsound!(this may sound weird, but it's what keeps every crowd going!) He released a record on his fiends label Heavysidelayer, which was a breakbeat-orientated track with a fucked up headphone vocal (HSL001-B2)!
In '97 one of his partners in dopamine (DJ Richard Parker) took him abroad to play in Tel Aviv.
This was one of the best things that could happen to him, because these nights became very big and he became a resident in the Lemon. He always played long sets (min. 8 hours) in which he gained respect from some of the greatest DJ's on the face of this earth and got to work in others countries as well! Countries like Russia (propaganda), France (Le Palace) and China. When his friend Richard was given a residency at Amsterdam's most famous club ROXY, a Tech-House night, he asked Prutt to occasionally fill the slot for him.
Since some time now he has teamed up with his main man throughout all these years Jeppe Laverman, to record a lot of new tracks under the name Bootleg Bitches which will be in stores near you in the near future! You must definitely check it out!!!!
