Pim Warnars (The Hague, 25-9-1970) has been around for many a year, playing his first dj battle in 1989, playing the Costa Blanca crappy discoteques in the early ninetees and from then on moving trough an underground scene of illegal bunker and tunnel parties. Occasionaly played Awakenings succesfully in 2002 and doing his thing @ High Low Techno. Just recently completed his second tour through Chile. Latest word is that he will be playing a few parties in Hooland again. His style is very broad, froom too cheesy Italo disco (Il Discotto,Unidisc), San Fransisco gay disco (Megatone, Emergency) to real freaky electro (lots of Kraftwerk, Dopplereffect, Drexcyia) all the Viewlexx and Bunker stuf and hard banging (mostly Detroit) Techno. Word is said people also heard him play Dave Brubeck, Jean Michel Jarre and all kinds of jazzy and native South Amarican shit. Pim also is known for his social talents (the guy can talk for hours when he's drunk) and for beeing a great performer.

"Op 29 April organiseren High Low Techno (HLT) en FORMAT (Abstract) een ware BEATRIP !
De "trip" zal beginnen om 22.00 uur en we hebben deze keer toestemming van de politie om tot 05:00 uur door te gaan! De feestelijke avond zal in het teken staan van goede muziek en natuurlijk de verjaardag van onze koningin. Kaarten voor dit evenement zullen op de avond zelf aan de deur verkrijgbaar zijn voor € 8,-
In de grote zaal zullen DJ's Il Disco, Martyn, Michel + Pim Warnars en Electronome beats ten gehore brengen die "variëren van Minimal tot Maxima" ! De beleving wordt compleet gemaakt door VJ's Murw en Simontage die je meenemen op een visuele trip waaraan Beatrix zelf ook niet kan ontsnappen. De kleine zaal zal verzorgd worden door DJ's Tjoink + 400% Ivo (HyperSonic SoundSystem), Roaldi Grimaldi en Il Disco met swingende grooves variërend van Disco tot funky Hip Hop en Eighties.
Wij van HLT en FORMAT hebben er erg veel zin in om er voor iedereen een knalfuif van te maken!

The Raad is still there?!?! It's funny as they talked about taking it down already when I went to school in Alkmaar. (1983!)
