Kerst is natuurlijk niks zonder een goed diner en een kerstboom! Kerst is niks zonder sneeuw(!), kerst is niks zonder sinterklaas. Maar wat natuurlijk ook niet kan missen om de kerstdagen goed af te sluiten is een dijk :) van een feest.
Soms ben je ergens aan het wandelen en begint het ineens keihard te regenen. Of je wordt achterna gezeten door een groep hondsdolle wezels. Of je loopt heel hard tegen een boom. In deze gevallen is het duidelijk tijd om naar huis te gaan.
Pelacha is one of the most relevant DJs of the Spanish techno scene. She started
behind the turntables in 1992 in one of the most significant clubs in those days,
Barfly. Later she was also resident DJ at Epsilon, Consulado and Omensound,
alternating these sessions with her first gigs outside Madrid in north Spain.
In 1998 she creates “Interstate” collective, with which she produces several
festivals in the Capital, and also collaborates in Art Futura and Festimad festivals.
During 1999 she was resident DJ at Davai club, and in another after session at
Arena, where she used to perform tech-house sets.
From that year until today, next to being a resident DJ, she has also been one of
the creators of “One,” club which has in its first three years become one of the
main references of the techno music in Spain, and with which she has recorded the
CD-mix “One a different club” (Aire Music), which achieved a great success. Next to
it, during the years 2002-2003, she has been resident DJ at “Surface” session in
Groove and Electrik, both clubs in Madrid.
Her sessions go from the most electronic tech-house to the most minimal and
forceful techno. The dynamism which characterizes her sets has resulted in
establishing a strong connection with the public, and her tasteful music selection,
as well as powerful mixing techniques, have led her to playing at important festivals
and parties, such as Hradhouse (Czech Republic), Boomerang (Slovakia),
Queensnight—Dimi’s productions (Amsterdam), Bassblaster (Czech Republic),
Phrenetic (Madrid), Technohousesur (Madrid), Interstate (Madrid), Interclub
(Valladolid), and venues or clubs like Metroklub (Slovakia), Patronaat (Holland), La
Real (Oviedo), Sala Jam (San Sebastian), U-Club (Bratislava), Family (Toledo), Piu
(Girona), Vertigo (Lugo), Zoreks (Lleida), El Jardín (Gijón), Moog (Barcelona),
Fonica (Mallorca), La Energia (Granada), KGB (Barcelona), Zeus (Valladolid), Oh

'Pelacha is een Spaanse met paardenstaart en is uitgenodigd om voor het eerst in Nederland te komen draaien. Ze draait sinds een jaar of 8 en heeft verscheidende residenties in Madrileense clubs. Hier is ze dus relatief onbekend, maar daar gaat verandering in komen. G-I-R-L-P-O-W-E-R. Gevarieerd en opzwepend, rauw maar strak. Niets geen vro(uwe)lijke funky techno gasgeven is het devies! Gooi James Ruskin, Misstress Barbara en Oscar Mulero in je cocktail shaker en klaar. Onberispelijk wordt de controle over de twee draaitafels gehouden.
