While his friends were emulating the medallists of the Olympic Games of Barcelona, Marc Martinez was trying control an Atari 1040ST with a keyboard Casio PT1 connected to a headphone. Evidently, the attempt did not succeed, but with only 9 years old he was spending most of his spare time testing his deck "playskool";. He spent four years listening to discs like the Alan Parson Project and Pink Floyd. He enjoyed the advantages of a dad working in a disc store.
In 1995, when he was 11 years old, he left his home town (Barcelona) to settle in Mollerussa. There he studied solfeo and piano during 7 years in the municipal school. From that time, he began to make his first compositions of classic music. Nowadays, he still plays that compositions with his piano at home.
At the same time got his first tuner, a Casio HT-6000. A few years later, at the age of 15, he obtained his first personal computer. That was the real impulse for him to create electronic music with programs like Audio Mulch, Cubase and Fruity Loops.
In 1998 for the first time he visited the Advanced music festival Sónar (during the brazilian year). He had a lot of luck, because he won the toss and received a sample of Akai Remix which helped him to extend the resources for the production of electronic music. Later, he did a course of Cubase in the University of Lleida, having to make the request with the name of his mother because of his young age. Further on, he began to give classes of musical production.
At the beginning of the career, Marc came into the picture of some CD players, who allowed him to introduce his first compositions to his first sessions in ' pubs' and ' raves' of the zone. After a few years of experience in front of the public, he started to incorporate his live performances in a portable Apple iBook 12".
From 2003, Marc lives again in Barcelona, where he simultaneously studies sound in two schools, works like a sound technician in a theatre in Mollerussa and gives classes of musical production in Lleida. In the meantime, he created a theme for a TV announcement, produced radio announcements and collaborated in audio-visual projects and sound tracks for short movies.
Presently, Marc Marzenit is resident of the White Sessions in the club Zoreks de Alcarràs (Lleida), where he shows off with good taste and a force sufficient to break the track. Recently, he incorporated in a booking of Zenbooking and he will publish two tracks in Underwear records and Votox records..
