Slick Chick is a 27 year-old disco-freak from Rotterdam. She started playing records about seven years ago. At the time she and her friends were throwing nonprofit parties in dirty warehouses throughout the Netherlands and beyond.

Terwijl de Sint z’n zak met pepernoten leegschudt en onze grote Kerstvriend de arrenslee weer voorrijdt, dropt Arctic Boogie vrijdag 12 december feestelijke acid en oldskool in club Innocent in Hengelo.
Loveland organiseert dit jaar het grootste Oud & Nieuw spektakel van Amsterdam. De organisatie viert de jaarwisseling in Amstelborgh onder de naam ‘Loveland NewYear’.
Born in the mid 70's in beautiful Heidelberg. From an early age on, his family encouraged him musically, and it didn't take long before he picked up his first instrument. It should take him a while though to find the right one, because he always felt there was something lacking in the kind of music the teachers preferred.
In his early teenage years, he got into the emerging hip hop sound from the US, which probably showed him for the first time, what a powerful and emotional medium music could be. This was intensified by upcoming drum&bass and house sounds of the early nineties in infamous locations like the milk club in Mannheim, the warehouse style house parties of the area, and the clubs that were opening up across Germany.
In this period, laying the foundations for later musical productions, he got into the "dj thing" with his soul mate (you know who you are?), which would give guidance, support and friendship for the years to come. After getting into the local dj circuit and manifesting his passion for the decks, he left his hometown, and went on to take over a considerable part of the musical organisation in his school away from Heidelberg. This is where he met other artists, who were on a similar path.
After 4 years, finally back in his hometown, he decided to move on, and for further engineering studies, he relocated with to London in 1998, where he would soon start to release his first productions for Mark Brooms Pure Plastic Label, and develop his production skills.
Then finally in 2001, he launched Neurhythmics Recordings, and continues to pursue this project in combination with his work for one of London's finest record shops, Smallfish Records, and his DJ and Live gigs.
His style depends on venue and crowd, and generally fuses disco, house, his own edits and tracks, with a healthy dose of Chicago's jack.
