Loveland presenteerde tijdens het Amsterdam Dance Event de officiële DVD van Loveland Festival 2008. Ruim 40 professionals hebben zich tijdens het festival ingezet om de mooiste momenten vast te leggen.
Aanstaande zaterdag is alweer de derde editie in 2008 van eartharea in de Sugar Factory. Elke editie nodigt resident dj Per een grote naam uit het Nederlandse dj-circuit uit om een bijzondere set neer te komen zetten. Ditmaal is de eer aan Lucien ‘the dreadman’ Foort.
daniel benavente dedicated his life to sound at the early age of 16, performing at local concerts fronting an indie metal-band called "chemical stroke". the great electronic S band of the 80's EBM was his first contact with the electronic thing but his curriculum vitae switched tracks in 1995, when he moved to stuttgart and opened his own record store, "humpty" (stuttgart) that same year. ever since the humpty's first record-order, daniel has strictly supported his own favorites - the great experimental uk stuff.
soon after in 1996, daniel launched the "mutter-tonträger" label together with frank yentner to release their first co-productive musical output together. one year later, daniel put together a party that would offer a totally different sound in respect to the musical status quo in stuttgart at that time. this date with cristian vogel set the foundation for the following story: 1997 - while daniel was dj'ing more and more gigs with like-minded djs and friends, the party series changed into a weekly club concept called "neue-heimat". during that time daniel began regular bookings as "the neue-heimat dj" to play famous clubs like ultraschall, tresor, and stammheim as well as festivals and all the big parties like "time-warp".daniel benavente consistently brings his definition of techno to the forefront, directly and without any compromise by finding the lowest common denominator. during that time, the humpty record shop and neue heimat club have developed into very well-known institutions for germany's techno landscape. in 2000 daniel added the "neue heimat" label into the formula while producing mutter 014 in his own studio. more recent times have seen both daniel's recording and dj career expand into other top clubs and labels worldwide.
