Andreas Mügge, the man behind the D.Diggler project, was born in Hanau / Germany, the town where he has been organizing parties for years.
Blessed with a father who is a jazz musician, Andreas started to play the drums at the tender age of twelve, and joined his father in his jazz combo.
Soon he realized that his future is not to play in a band but to make his musical ideas become reality through the necessary MIDI equipment.
His first release for raum...musik "Boogiemonster" hit several DJ charts (Monika Kruse et al.), club charts and was played in heavy rotation on HR 3 XXL. So did the following releases. Sven Vaeth plays his stuff, and he had features in all important german dance magazines like Groove, de:bug, Raveline, Partysan, Spex.
D. Diggler`s first album was released in April 2000 on CD and vinyl, its sound range varying from sweet-pop to technoid-slamming.
