Finally it’s ready, the most known czech DJane Lucca from Prague will release her debut artist album on 08th December 2008. Firstly Reformation will be released exclusively on Beatport and from february 2009 you will find it as special edition in your favourite record stores.

The special edition includes further tracks of Lucca that are refined with guitar riffs of the czech musiclegend Michal Pavlicek. That will give the album a special touch.

Reformation stands for the groth of Lucca personally and as DJane. Every track of the album reflects a story of Luccas life, that is what makes the album very characteristically. Every single stands for itself hand have it’s own identity. To build a common identity with this very specific and unique tracks was the aim of this album. So every auditor of the album will be sendet on a journey through Luccas life.

Reformation is simply a dance, 13-track album. It takes Lucca´s favourite elements from all different genre’s of dance. Lucca brings a new spirit on the worldwide dancefloors with her progressive techno peppered with pumping electro beatz and fine minimal sounds. For her tracks Lucca got inspirations by the productions of Deep Dish and Chemical Brothers.

One of Lucca’s favourite tracks on the album is ‚Hundertwasser‘ a brand new track, which can be described as a funky nu minimal trance, it’s 130 bpm and very bassheavy. Moreover Lucca really likes the tracks ‚Noise Tone‘ and ‚Teleport‘, ‚Noise Tone‘ is more in a minimal style and ‚Teleport‘ is a powerfull funky techno sound. For ‚Recommended Sister‘ Lucca got insprirations and influences by the sound of Deep Dish. But ‚Crank’ is a bit different style then the rest of the album, it’s a progressive house track.

Lucca will release Reformation on her own label Sound Of Acapulco, which the smart DJane founded already in 2004 under the name Acapulco. At the relaunch in 2007 the label got his new name Sound Of Acapulco.

DJ Lucca is DJane since 1999 and released already numerous of tracks like ‚Mirage 01‘ (incl. Umek Remix) and ‚Freedom‘ (Acapulco – 2004), that became massive hits and was also supported by DJ’s like Carl Cox, Paul van Dyk just to name a few.

In April 2007 Lucca released the groovy electro track ‚Body Dance‘ on her new launched label Sound Of Acapulco, as first release of her new softer sound. The videoclip of Body Dance was produced by a team, that had already produced the videos for Fat Boy Slim. In summer 2007 the video was broadcasted regularly on TV stations like MTV.
Lucca: „Body Dance is one of the most commercial and best tracks I have ever done, and when I first played it at my resident night in Fabric Ostrava, people went totally crazy, and still after more than 2 years of the track beeing released they keep asking me for "that Tokio track" (as there is a vocal saying Tokio..)"

During the summer Lucca released already three singles of her album on Sound Of Acapulco: ‚Quantum‘, ‚Reformation‘ and ‚Woodblocker‘. These three singles and also the Hit ‚Body Dance‘ are the lead singles from the album to critical acclaim and Lucca involved some of the best name’s in the scene on the remixes inclucding Robert Babicz, Funk D’Voic, Pig & Dan and Matt Tolfrey & Inxec. DJ Lucca: „These singles were released during the re-launch of Sound Of Acapulco so I wanted to have them on the album to create more awareness of my older music.“

But besides the studiowork Lucca is also high demanded as DJane in the worldwide club and festival szene. The most important festival gigs in the past was surely her shows at Mayday (GER + PL + HU), Nature One (GER + PL), LoveParade (GER), Time Warp (GER), Creamfields (CZ + PL), Awakenings (NE), Dance Valley (NE), Defqon 1 (NE), Sonne Mond und Sterne (DE) and 2008 at the legendary Sziget Festival in Hungary. But also the list of clubs, where Lucca already played she can be proud of. Including names like: U60311 Frankfurt (GER), Airport Wuerzburg (GER), Tresor Berlin (GER), Privilege Club Ibiza (ES), Florida 135 (ES), Fabric Ostrava (CZ), Mecca Prague (CZ), Rohstofflager Zuerich (CH), Flex Vienna (AU), Ambasada Gavioli (SLO), Hala Ludova Wroclaw (PL), Rex Paris (FR), and The Gallery at Turnmills in London (UK).

2008 is a very successful year for Lucca so far, and it finds a crowning finale with Reformation. Among other things Lucca was voted again as „DJ Of The Year“ (Czech Dance Music Awards) this year and she got the chance to host an own radioshow at Paul van Dyk’s Vonyc Radio since May. „Sound Of Acapulco“ is broadcasted
every sixth day a month from 08:00 pm – 10:00 pm.
