Amsterdam Dance Event and Magnetron Music present two of their biggest acts live at Flex Bar on Saturday October 25th (Pazzanistraat 1).This special occasion is set up to introduce the international ADE audiences to Amsterdam's hot new live band and live art act Le Le , as well as re-introducing longtime Magnetron producer Seymour Bits.
Based in Amsterdam, Le Le have invented a French region as their fictitious homeland and sing in French, German, English and Dutch. A three piece, Serge Fabergé (real name Pepyn), the front man and vocalist of Le Le, is also the front man and vocalist of the chart topping Dutch rap-electro crew De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig (Nominated for this year's MTV Europe Award for Best European Band). Rimer London plays every instrument imaginable and is previously well known for his underground Electro act 'Comtron'; who were picked up by Kraftwerk as their tour support act. Parra is not only a musical force, but also an internationally renowned and celebrated artist and designer.
Le Le 's live performances are rare as the band are notoriously choosy about shows. On stage Rimer is the master of the music, Parra creates live images that interact with the audience and Serge is the manic front-man, who raps, sings and sips champagne.
The band will unleash their debut album 'Flage' to the World in November (on Magnetron Music/NEWS), with their excellent single 'Breakfast' coming shortly before.
Alongside Le Le and Seymour Bits, head-honcho of Magnetron "Colonel" Parker Jones and problemchild Willie Wartaal will hit the decks in the main room. In the (just a little) smaller room Mr. Ries (Hollands first and foremost Electro and Booty dj) will take control of the dj-booth and Jackal & Hyde from Tampa Florida will perform live for the first time in Holland.
