The album title "Bordell" (= Chaos; french) is not to be understood as its obvious meaning. Rather the actual deep meaning of "Bordell" is the surface. Chaos stands for organized chaos. The album title was a spontaneous decision when the track of the same name came to life.
Letís go to the corner of associations, you realize that the bridge from "Bordell" to red light and warmth is not far. Warmth is again a central characteristic of Taksi tracks as well as the close connection between "Bordell", Taksi and night-life in general, since everything takes place during night time.
The musical aspect of "Bordell" is the extension of "Rundfahrt" and reflects all facets of a DJ-night with André Galluzzi. The track "Bordell" that experiments with Andreís voice for the first time, stands for the earlier night-hours. "Staatstheater", "Fernrohr" and "Rummelplatz" combine to the technoid peak time. "Fernrohr" steps here into the footsteps of tracks like "Schneesturm" or "Rohrbruch" through its imperative sounds, which beat eyes and hooks over and over again. "Moisture", "Regenschauer" and "Sternenstaub" are floating peaces for morning hours. Trancelike curves that were ran down on "Rundfahrt", are now driven out with pleasure.
The album is settled of with the track "Tiefenrausch", an ambient peace with Taksi sound. The typical Taksi characteristics also fit perfectly. Deepness and detailedness, which reach a wonderful agreement.
As an extra bonus the CD version contains the tracks "Buschbarbier" and "Mal was anderes". "Bushbarbier" is an experimental peace with wood and bells. Last year, "Mal was anderes" as 12inch maxi was able to conquer the clubs.
