During the last decade Rotterdam home-based dj/producer Bas Mooy (1976) has been active on many fronts in the global techno-scene. In 2006 he kickstarted Syndikaat, a recordlabel and a bookingsagency, representing many of todays (inter)national topjocks.

Over the years Bas has been releasing on labels such as Planet Rhythm, Fine Audio Recordings, Submissions, Patterns, Temper and of course his own imprints Audio Assault and Arms. With releases coming up on FK Recs, Aftertaste, Audio Assault, Arms and Planet Rhythm, Bas shows no sign of slowing down. Besides that he's a member of the Rotterdam underground collective Strictly Techno, responsible for many legendary parties for more than a decade and hosts a monthly evening at Bootleg, providing a stage for locals and upcoming talent since 2001.
