House music is the red line in Hay-T's (1978) life. It al started when he was sixteen and got a job in a local bar where played tracks and taught himself to mix. After 3 years he bought his own decks. From that moment on Hay-T could be found on daily afternoon in the record shops in Amsterdam looking for the newest tracks.

IN 2006 he first spun during club nights in Odeon Amsterdam. It was the first time he appeared for a larger audience. In the same year Hay-T was cought by the upcoming music stream called minimal/techhouse. It was love at first sight, which made Hay-T decide to fully embrace this subgenre of house music.

Together with two good friends they decided not to waste any time setup a club night called "Linke Soep". This was the actual beginning for Hay-T as DJ performer, with new gigs lining up rapidly such as; Hertz_, Club Krang, Club Fritz, Zinin, en Klinker Kopen.

After a few successful editions of Linke Soep, the organization decided to come together and setup their own company called Piekup.
Piekup organizes next to Linke Soep parties such as 4 Stunden, Linke Fritz and Rauwe Vrouwen.

Since October 2007 Piekup has expanded with an agency that supports the Piekup artists. With a constant drive and enthusiasm Hay-T stands for a set with continuous groove, which will make people faces smile.
