Born in 1978 in Breda (Netherlands), Gert-Jan Schutte started DJ'ing in 1997 at the Para in his hometown Breda with a mix of pop, rock and dance. In this eclectic sets he used his own collection of records he started collecting at the age of nine. In 1999 he started working in recordstore Tunes Ville. There he was able to explore the world of electronic music and started buying electronic music. At that time he started a monthly techno night in Para called Technology.
