ADHD Sessions returns with this years' third edition of one of the most cozy techno parties in Amsterdam. After our previous party in the small Club La back in June ee promised that we would return in style and in a new club. However, we didn't expect such a comback ourselves either! The new location for our parties is the already well known Studio-80 which is a perfect venue for the atmosphere and character of ADHD Sessions. In a relatively small setup we present quality techno talents as well as more reknowned techno artists and dj's to the crowd. This combined with the always great sounding soundsystem of Studio-80. Yep! The underground is back!
ADHD Sessions returns, in Studio-80, with James Ruskin as headliner of the evening! On Friday september 29th, this master in the techno genre will shake the ground of the Rembrandtplein. No giant doorprizes, not another mega dance event, just a smokemachine blowing on full-throttle. beautiful synth-lines, deep basses and funky grooves... More than 2 hours of James Ruskin at ADHD Sessions.
But there's more! From the well known, Berlin based, techno label Kanzleramt, mostly known from timeless records by Alexander Kowalski, Heiko Laux or Johannes Heil, we have invited two quality acts for this edition of ADHD Session.
Dave Ellesmere is obviously quite known locally already, his leatest co-production as part of Microfunk is a huge success and is currently often being played by the likes of Ritchies Hawtin and Ricardo Villalobos. After his fantastic set at ADHD Sessions in March earlier this year, we thought it was time for a comeback already.
For the lovers of the typical Kanzleramt sound, the name of the, also Berlin based, Ray Kajioka must sound familiar as well. His fusion of groovy techno ridden house and deep synth lines is getting more and more recognition all around the world. With his new studio album in sight, we thought he just had to be included in the lineup of this edition.
In the second room we' ve got some Dutch talent for you. Dj Wesdex, also known as resident of the Utrecht based Magnetronik parties will fill the place with some fine minimal sounds in case you'd like to chill out a little. By the way, shortly after midnight, this room will be kicked off by an experimental set by Charlton who proves that his musical ambitions go way beyond his already great sounding off-beat techno productions.
The main room will be started by a dj set by Dia.chro.na. For this special occasion this upcoming, Amsterdam based, Polish producer will show us his melodic side and will open the evening will a deep and minimalistic set full of Basic Channel and Chain Reaction style classics.
The resident and mr. ADHD Sessions, dj Recovery Sounds is also present of course. This fanatic techno lover will experience absolutely no problems with bringing his funky and groovy sound to the crowd in the main room. Besides his unique choice of records he' ll play some of his own productions for which he is receiving more and more recognition in within the dj community.
As you see, there's very little reason for not coming to the Studio-80 on friday September 29th on the Rembrandtplein in Amsterdam. The doorprice is just 7.50 Euro, so come early since there's no ticket pre-sale and we don't take any reservations either. The evening starts at 23:00 and ends when the lights go on... late!
