BOLD (the new bi-monthly event by Chemistry in club Panama) is turning one year old and she’s celebrating her first birthday on September 2nd. Berlin’s finest DJ duo, M.A.N.D.Y is making a special appearance to deliver a scorching set.

If you haven’t yet heard of this dynamic duo, chances are you’ve been in hibernation, for the last year—with their hit “Body Language”, these two have since conquered the world. People’s choice Benny Rodrigues and music-freak Eric de Man will also be there to help blow the roof off Panama with, as always, the best in Minimal, House, and Electro. Marcello, in typical fashion, is set to transform the small hall into his own swirling, sweaty, temple of dance. To top the night off, VJ Micha Klein will put the icing on the BOLD birthday cake with his spectacular visual creations.

Philip Jung and Patrick Bodmer (aka M.A.N.D.Y.) are the men behind the renowned Berlin label, Get Physical. In a relatively short time since starting their label, Jung and Bodmer have already managed to sign several talented producers, such as: Sunsetpeople, Chelonis R. Jones, Booka Shade, and Lopazz. With the release of their first compilation album ' Get Physical ' in 2004, their sound became recognized instantly and embraced throughout Europe, with the rest of the world quickly following suit. The British magazine, DJ Mag even proclaimed Get Physical as label of the year, in 2005. All this acclaim has resulted in a residency at Space in Ibiza for M.A.N.D.Y, ultimately ousting DJ heavyweights Sasha and Steve Lawler. That’s more than enough reason to come check these Deutchmeisters out!

2005 was also a banner year for Rotterdam house master, Benny Rodrigues. With a residency at PINCLUB and the party hosted by Chris Liebing at Privilege in Ibiza, Benny has undeniably joined the ranks of the international DJ elite. Benny’s first releases off his own label, BR Records, are expected in October with tracks by such producers as Colin McBean, Petter and Sebastien Leger also expected from Benny’s white-hot label!

Showcasing groundbreaking acts including Trentemoller, Le Clic, Headman en Martini Bros, BOLD is the cure for the common club night: injecting Electro, Minimal, house and disco freshness into the stale and mindless drudgery of uninspiring line-ups and uninspired sounds that presently dominate the club scene, BOLD is leading the revolution. BOLD’s commitment to progressive concepts and superior tastes led to a nomination for Amsterdam’s “Nachtkracht” award. This award is granted to an initiative, venue or organization which has made a particular contribution to improving, reinventing, or reinvigorating Amsterdam’s nightlife. “We’re obviously very pleased and proud.
