Saturday 19th of August, the book of Club Poema in Utrecht opens for a brand new chapter: the Poema Labelnights. The kick-off is set to be spectecular: infamous German technolabel Kanzleramt is ready to rock the house.

Fierce ruling emperor of Kanzleramt, Heiko Laux, will be playing the decks this night. Heiko founded the label in 1994, and released his first record on it that same year. Since then, he has become a much sought after DJ and highly respected producer. Heiko’s DJ sets and productions are filled with funk, melody and especially SOUL. These three words characterize the typical Kanzleramt-sound as well. Since 1994, Kanzleramt has developed into one of the most important and influential record labels in history of techno music. The label is home to artists like Damon Wild, Anthony Rother, Alexander Kowalski and Johannes Heil.

For this night, Heiko brings the newest baby of the Kanzleramt-family: Peter Horrevorts. This young Dutchman has been making dope beats for years under his ‘Forcesupreme’ alter ego. Now ready to release two singles on Kanzleramt, and set to make his first live appearance under his birthname. Peter is still 23 years old, so the sky seems to be the limit…!

Heiko and Peter are being supported by Pinxt and Steve Mulder. Both are huge fans of the typical Kanzleramt-sound, and therefore cannot be missed at this labelnight.

After a short summerbreak, club Poema opens its doors from 23.00 to 06.00 for this special night. New DJ booth, new light, better sound and a couple of killer line-ups in the near future: we’re ready to rock ‘n roll. Tickets are 10 euro and available at the door.
