On Saturday the first of July is dj Clé, one of the guys of Märtini Brös (Berlin), the party cracker during BOLD @ Panama. With Terry Toner, Marcello and a live act of Mark August he is in a wicked good company.

Clé is a dj for almost twenty years who knows how to rock the people and show this in clubs like Space Ibiza and DC10. Clé plays since the ‘summer of love’ in ’89. Popular Berlin clubs like Tresor and E-Werk are places where he had his residency that time. It could be worse… When he met in ’98 Mike Vamp, cult figure of the Berlin dance scene, they set up a new house iniative: the Märtini Brös. Their debute album Pläy has been released on Steve Bug’s famous Pokerflat label. Tracks like Flash and Dance Like It Is Ok became big hits in Germany and do also well in the rest of the world. After two years touring around the world, Clé finally comes to Amsterdam, Panama.

The most succesfull dj from the Electronation camp is Terry Toner. For example he played with Fatboy Slim in Turnmills in Londen and he can be daily found in the most popular clubs and festivals in Holland. Terry Toner is busy with many creative projects. Setting up a new record label is one of these things. In an interview he tells: “At this moment in Holland actually there are to many producers but less labels. That’s why I want to set up a new electro house record label together with dj Mason. Nowadays I get a lot of good music and I want the people to know that. The plans are to release the first tracks on this label at the end of this year.”

We are proud to present new kid on the block Mark August, who will play his first live set at BOLD. This music freak from Amsterdam just released his first two track via Djinxx, a label where also artists like Vince Watson, Funk D’Void and Claude Young released their first tracks. His style is somewhere between Detroit, minimal, deephouse and progressive. After the mind-blowing performance by Le Clic, Chemistry again shows you a new talent from the Amsterdam underground.

With twenty years dj experience and an über big records collection dj Marcello is the biggest housemeister of the dj’s who will play this night at BOLD. Like no other Marcello aka Mr. Chemistry is still on top of his game. So prepare yourself for a Mister Miyagi music lesson during his 5-hours solo set.
