Saturday the 24th of June it’s time for Lektrik at Club Poema. After a number of parties in the south of Holland, the guys from Lektrik are making a small trip to the middle of Holland to rock Utrecht and Club Poema!

For this little trip they’ve invited 2 of the hottest and unique international live-acts of the moment: Pheek and Bruno Pronsato.

Bruno Pronsato

2005 was the year for Seattle artist Steven Ford a.k.a. Bruno Pronsato. With performances on parties like Mutek en previous acts in Holland he has prove himself able to rock crowds with his records and with his live performances. Pronsato’s style can be described as playful, sexy, unexpected with the occasional effect on your funny bone. There will be quite a few new releases from him this summer, so expect some new pumping shit in his live-set this night! Don’t miss Mr. Pronsato, cause he won’t be performing in Holland for a while after this night.

Pheek

With his nasty grooves, wicked beats and freaky sounds Jean-Patrice Rémillard is one of the pioneers in the Canadian scene. Living in Montréal, this talented producer is busy running his two labels Archipel and Kalimari. With releases on Minus, Telegraph, Tic Tac Toe, Contexterrior and of course on his own labels Pheek is an established name in the scene. And still he only performed once in Holland; last year at Voltt he was the highlight of the evening for many. On the 24th of June he will get another chance to rock our Dutch ears and shuffle our Dutch feet! His album is planned for end of summer 2006 so expect some new tunes in this set as well!

Kabale und Liebe

2006 has been the year that Kabale und Liebe has revealed himself. Liron van Daalen, the man behind Kabale und Liebe has been busy producing music for quite a few years now and beginning 2006 it finally paid off with a release on the Canadian label Archipel. Quickly after this release K&L teamed up with Canadian producer Le Cantin, wich resulted in the release of the more tracks on the Archipel label. Tracks of this young talent have been getting a lot of support from the scene and are being played by the likes of Richie Hawtin and Magda. Previous this year K&L rocked the dancefloor at he famous Awakenings party, this summer Kabale und Liebe can be seen at quite a few parties in Holland and also abroad (Berlin and London). With his deep, funky, abstract grooves Kabale und Liebe will be ready to pump the air out of your nikes!

Rotek en Anexx

These two Lektrik residents will take their places behind the wheels of steel. They pleased many crowds on previous editions of Lektrik in the warm south of the Netherlands and won’t bounce back to do that again on this night in Utrecht.
