On June 16 Amsterdam based DJ Estroe will do her first live performance at Full Spectrum in the 11.For many years now DJ Estroe has been a driving force behind the Amsterdam techno scene. Organizing events, spinning a few times a week, producing, remixing and just recently she started preparing her very own live performance.
She describes her style as a combination between house, tech-house, Detroit techno and warm minimal, which is just the feel we got when listening to a preview of her new live-act. You definitely hear the feminine touch in all the sounds and percussion arrangement, which makes the whole very refreshing to listen to.
Besides preparing this live-act she’s also very busy producing and remixing;
- Estroe's remix of "The Stofzuiger" by the Dutch infamous De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig is coming out on Magnetron Music (label ran by Kostijn Egbers and Bastian) on June 1st. Other remixes featured by Dexter, DNA and Brothers Plonk.
- Her tracks "Nightshift" and "Swinging Chair", along with one track by Vince Watson, are coming out on Watson's label “Bio Elements” after the summer 2006.
- The electro track "To Decide" is to come out on Little-D any time soon.
- The track "Bellisimore" will be coming out next month on Graham Wilson's label “7th Sign”. After this release, her very own “Estroe EP” is scheduled to be released on the same label, containing her track "Duisteritis" along with Stefan Robbers' Eevolute remix.
- The tracks "Beat Box Contest", "Kiss & Make-Up", "House Shopping", "Oblivious" and "Rocking Chair" can be bought on Muzikism website from next week on!
- Estroe's track "Synaps" is licensed for the soundtrack of the movie Headspace.
