Last October Michael Mayer was elected best deejay by the professional jury of Holland's prestigious Release Dance Awards. Michael Mayer will visit Utrecht "Tivoli" once again at Friday 19th of May for another great evening filled with techno.

Michael Mayer is chief of record store, record label and distributor Kompakt in Keulen. Kompakt also releases mix-cd’s of this busy dj. The mixes include songs from Alan Parsons, Steve Miller, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, acid, New York deep house, soundtracks and techno. His own work is more minimalistic, as shown in his 2004 released album Touch. With sets at Lowlands, 05 Days Off and Planet Rose Mayer’s hypnotizing micro house conquered the Netherlands last year. Utrecht’s own Portuguese dj Nuno dos Santos will play in between all sorts of minimal beats.

The evening is presented by Full Spectrum. Full Spectrum is an organisation formed by several dj’s and party promoters in Utrecht. Their vision is best described as ‘a different view on techno’. The various surprising party’s and the emerging of new exciting dj’s has put Full Spectrum in the picture.
