On friday the 5th of May Tivoli invites Âme, two of Germans most innovative dj's. Beatfreax gives away some tickets to this night.Quinn will be opening the night, and Bart Skils has the honour for closing the night out. Expect the best in soulfull house and techno, new records combined with some good old classics.
Âme was founded 5 years ago when Kristian and Frank first met up through Kristians recordshop "Platentasche" and various gigs in the area. Frank already experienced with his former project Soul FC and Kristian being a scientific music nerd in a positive way, they one day decided to tweak the knobs together. In 2002 this resulted in releasing their first track 'Tonite' on German label Sonar Kollektiv. After that more tracks followed on Sonar Kollektiv and in 2004 they released their first album Ame. Their big breakthrough came in 2005, with the
'Rej EP' which can be found in many a DJ's record collection.
Âme's sound is easily accessible without loosing deepness, complexity and a distinctive twist. Their inspirations, how diverse they might be, are clevery quoted but never copied.
