Sound Architecture is back on track! On March 11th Karotte kicked off their new residency at Club Rotterdam. This weekend will see them return, now with Nathan Fake behind the decks.Nathan Fake's star quickly rose to fame last year thanks to a couple of brilliant releases. 'The Sky Was Pink' and 'Dinamo' both became massive club hits, and the remixes of those tracks, made by the likes of Dominik Eulberg and James Holden, performed equally well on the dance floors. Border Community has recently released Nathan's debut album 'Drowning In A Sea Of Love', which caused quite a stir. Nathan's musical universe is so diverse that his style simply defies any qualification. We can only wonder what kind of musical tricks he will pull out of the box this Saturday.
Supporting Nathan Fake in the main room are DJ's Joachim and Taras. Joachim, being both Sound Architecture's foreman and its resident DJ surely needs no further introduction. With an infectious mix of tech house, Detroit techno and minimal he's sure to get your body moving. Taras is steadily building a solid reputation in the Dutch dance scene. He has recently launched a very successfull new clubnight, called Soundamentalism, and he has also been awarded with a nomination for 'best new talent' at the 2006 Gouden Kabouter Awards.
The bar area will be the musical playground of the Drunken Lion System and Cut Nice. Their sultry brand of roots, reggae, dub, and broken beats will turn Café Rotterdam into a little Jamaican bar.
Sound Architecture takes place this Saturday at Club Rotterdam (Kop van Zuid, Wilhelminakade 699).
