On the 4th of march P60 will be again a place for a night of techno. According to Heroes of Techno it was time to invite a couple of Italian techno friends, because the Italian techno has been forgotten a little in clubs and festivals in 2005. Freshtechno assisted in making this evening complete.

Gaetano Parisio did not perform for almost two years in a club in NL and for this reason Heroes of Techno put him on stage. After releases on Drumcode, ELP and a lot of other labels he makes himself a true Italian hero. Ofcourse he also did many releases together with his good friend Marco Carola, Heroes has tried to book him as well for this edition, but unfortunately it was not possible for Marco to come over.

The true killer from the Italian techno-scene is nevertheless Rino Cerrone. The former motorcrosser is now very active in producing music. In the 1990s he brought a few productions on various labels, eventually he set up his own label in 1999 and called it rili: s (pronounced as: release).

Danilo Vigorito was once already a guest at Heroes of Techno. One of the first times he played in the Netherlands and he put on an impressive set. Danilo Vigorito has been later well known to the public than Rino Cerrone and Geatano Pariso, but he already has a beautiful repertoire on labels like Zenit, Primate and Orion. His latest productions are mainly brought out on Intelligence. With this label he looks up to the border of techno, something that is very praised by the Italian underground scene at the moment.

To finish the evening before we send the people home, the Italian techno heroes will twist with each other. The setup will consist of at least 6 decks, 2 mixers and some laptops and fx, but the Napolitan
trio promised to try mixing on 9 decks and 3 mixers! Something you just cannot miss!
