Promoters watch it, pluggers watch it, everybody checks it, and it is considered to be the leading list of what's happening in the world of dance music at the moment.

The German "Groove Magazine" has just published the 2005 winners of their reader's poll in their January issue.

Looking at the general consensus on Beatfreax it could easily have been the "Beatfreax Visitor's Poll", as many categories would presumably end up in the same results. Over the course of 2005 we too have noticed labels like Get Physical, Border Community, Ghostly International and of course Hawtin's M_nus to break some bricks. Artists like Luciano, Trentemoller, Hawtin, Väth, Eulberg, Mathew Jonson, Robag Wruhme, Âme, Alex Smoke (just to name a few) have also clearly done well amongst the Beatfreax members and visitors.

No real surprises here, but all in all a decent list and perfect overview of 2005 in our opinion.
