This Saturday – February 25 – we invite Thomas Schumacher and Terry Toner for a DJ-set and little chat.Thomas Schumacher
Thomas Schumacher has always been a non-purist DJ and producer swapping between house, techno and electro within his sets. He has chosen not to represent any style in particular, opting instead to create his own unique style. For years now he has been crossing over left and right of centre. This diversity has become his much loved character and his trademark.
Schumacher continues to be one of the leading players on the International DJ circuit, whilst remaining a cherished regular in the most important clubs throughout the world. Remixes for International Deejay Gigolos; Afrika Bambaataa; Marc Almond; Bob Sinclar; A-ha; Frankie Goes To Hollywood and Eve Mendes are all proof of the respect that he inspires from his contemporaries and of course confirms his success.
Together with Stanny Franssen, Alexander Koning and Matthew Dear he will play at the
Techno Vision party in the Patronaat on the same night as well.
Terry Toner (Electronation Radio resident)
Born in 1982 this DJ/Producer can be considered as 'the new kid on the electronic block'. He grew up with the music his parents played for him, the Beatles, Buddy Holly and Bill Hailey. How this influenced his music style today, he quotes: "I've got absolutely no idea". He first came in contact with electronic music at the age of ten, after being forced by his older nephew to listen to his rave records, he was instantly hooked and there was no way back.
