This was the first time I was going to see Danny Howells play. I expected a lot if since people told me he's the man, the king and so on and on. When we arrived round half 11, a massive queue had gathered in front of Club Panama. Luckily we were all inside quite quickly.
Normally when I enter a club round that time people are still chatting round the bar, sitting on the couches and looking around to see who's going to fill the dance floor first. Tonight the dance floor was already packed with people dancing with happy faces face word to the DJ.
In the beginning Danny was playing really experimental from Jazz, lounge and a track from Radiohead. Round one the first deep-house beats came looking around the corner slowly build to more Funky house music. While he made the people dance, he was posing for photographers, waving at is fans and obviously having a really good time himself. You could really see there was a connection between him and the crowd.
The later it got the more beats filled Panama. Heavy house tracks, electro, tech-house and progressive a variety of music which Danny made to one great set. Danny made all his nicknames come true to me!
