German label 'Karmarouge Records' and the netlabel, talent resource and promotion agency 'FOEM/Electronic Youth' have arranged a new producers contest with Gabriel Ananda's well known club anthem 'Ihre persönliche Glücksmelodie'.

German label 'Karmarouge Records' and the netlabel, talent resource and promotion agency 'FOEM/Electronic Youth' have arranged a new producers contest with Gabriel Ananda's well known club anthem 'Ihre persönliche Glücksmelodie'. This dancefloor bomb was one highlight of Sven Väth´s latest mix CD 'Sounds of the Sixth Season' (Cocoon).

Karmarouge and FOEM/Electronic Youth want to strike a new path. It's not about a normal remix competition - there are 2 ways to enter the contest. One way is to remix the track. The other way is to make a completely new own 'melody of good luck'. A melody, sleeping deep inside everybody, waiting to come up when people are happy. This melody must be worked out as an electronic music production. Both labels are open to any style. From Ambient Soundscapes to even Industrial Noise.

Beside other prizes, Karmarouge offers the chance to get on the 'Glücksmelodie Remixes EP'. It will be released in spring and features remixes by Johannes Heil and Dominik Eulberg.

The contest will be exclusively held at www.foem.info and commences on February 1. Final absolute deadline for contributing tracks is April 31st 2006.
