Shortly after the publication of 'Release, the Story of ID&T Part 1', Duncan Stutterheim was approached by an independent film company to make a movie about his daily life and the workings of his company.

Shortly after the publication of 'Release, the Story of ID&T Part 1', Duncan Stutterheim was approached by the independent film company, Pieter van Huystee Film & TV (the same company that made 'En Un Momento Dado'), to make a movie about his daily life and the workings of his company. The film is called 'God is my DJ' and will be in cinemas from February 2, 2006.

This one-and-a-half-hour long documentary will be directed by Carin Goeijers, and leading parts will be played by DJ's Dano & Armin van Buuren, Joop van den Ende, and Duncan & Lisca Stutterheim, among others.

"'God is my DJ' is a film about the fascinating world of dance music, in which Duncan Stutterheim successfully made his dreams come true. It will follow Duncan, his friends and family in the period preceeding 'Sensation 2005'. Duncan and his friends live in a world that is dominated by ambition and a hedonistic lifestyle on the one side and the search for security and giving meaning to life on the other - an appressive contradiction between which they will need to find their way"
